We have however discontinued designing wedding cards. We are only creating handmade products for our retail stores and export market.

Deckle Edge is a term of art of referring to handmade paper in its pristine form.We call ourselves Deckle Edge as we are dedicated to creating products worthy of handmade paper, which is as aesthetic as it is eco-friendly.We are driven by our goal of creating handmade paper products in tune with the changing tastes and needs.Our studio, consisting of a workshop and showroom, is centrally located in Hyderabad, which is reputedly one of the growth engines of India in new economy sectors such as information technology and biotechnology.

Set up in 1996, Deckle Edge has emerged as a creative powerhouse for "coordinated stationery"for special occasions, whether personal or business.Deckle Edge is led by Renu Rao, an artist and graphic designer who has been working with handmade paper for about two decades.Since she did a two-year masters course in printmaking at a prestigious art school in US, Michigan's Cranbrook Academy of Art, and since she travelled extensively within and outside the country, our designs have an International appeal even as we draw on India's cultural heritage.Deckle Edge is also endowed with a team of dedication and highly skillful craftsperson most of who have been with us right from our inception.The team has developed a flair for translating the most unlikely ideas into exquisite handicrafts, constantly pushing the envelope.Thanks to the motivation and quality of our crafts-person,Deckle Edge has carved a niche market for premium handmade paper products.
